I have acquired a few items bearing Windak labels (bootees, gloves, post-war combi flying suit) but still eager to find more, especially a Taylor Buoyancy Suit and a Partial Pressure helmet. I've had no joy finding either for sale although it seems some have been sold in the past 12 months or so. This suit is actually a basically unaltered High-Altitude Windak Pressure Suit made for the British Royal Air Force. BoShek wears the same one in ANH in the
air pressure between what’s inside our bodies and air pressure outside our bodies. At higher altitudes, air pressure inside our bodies would be much higher than pressure outside, unless we had some kind of protection to keep that from hap-pening. The outer part of the suit is a flame-resistant Nomex material that is much stronger than the inner layer and gives the suit its shape.
